Support for disabled students

Last updated: 11/08/2022 16:43

Register with the Student Disability Service to ensure your access requirements are met.

If you haven't already contacted the Student Disability Service as an applicant prior to your arrival, then please contact Student Connect as soon as you can.

You will be asked to need to provide supporting evidence of your impairment, health condition or specific learning difficulty so appropriate reasonable adjustments are implemented to support your studies. If you are unsure about what evidence is needed, we advise you to contact us.

If you have applied for further support through the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA), the Student Disability Service also offers a DSA needs assessment centre. If you have been asked to arrange a needs assessment, please email us at dsaadmin@cardiff.ac.uk or phone +44 (0)29 2087 9127.

If you have already contacted the service as an applicant, and have agreed with a disability adviser what support will benefit your studies, you can view your recommended support by logging onto your SIMS account.

If you have any queries or concerns about accessing your support or your circumstances have changed, please make contact with us as soon as possible.
